Often known as the ‘City of Dreams,’ the glamorous and colourful world of Bollywood is a well recognised aspect of Mumbai’s culture. The theme for Meta’s cafe in Mumbai, named ‘Intermission,’ was based around the cinematic experience and the elements surrounding it, creating a vibrant space where dreams can come alive. In an eclectic mix of retro and modern, the graphics and installations for the space infuse rich gold-finished elements with chunky theatre style neon signs, a bright red wall reminiscent of a red carpet, iconic Bollywood dialogues, and a flashy golden ticket at the entrance.
