I had the immense privilege of being part of a team sponsored by the UN Human Rights Office, Southeast Asia, to develop a short animation film around the themes of unity and supporting migrants. The film serves as a preview for a series that tells the stories of everyone who calls India home, one dish at a time. With food and festivals as common ground evoking the culture of shared celebrations across South Asia, the series is built on the message that diversity makes India stronger and richer.

My role was to develop a storyboard and illustrations for the scenes described in the script, to capture a sense of belonging, community and vibrant festivity. We went into great detail, ensuring that every element reinforces the overall message, but does so with charm and joy. The illustrated elements were then set in motion by an animator, with the final video translated in both Hindi and Tamil.
