Early is a no-nonsense, tactical marketing firm that exists to help start-ups & growing businesses turn their marketing into a strategic, sustainable, sales-aligned and revenue-focused component of their organization. It comprises of a collective of proven marketers, made accessible to startups through a fractional services model.

The brief was to create a branding system that signaled Early's fractional model and more importantly, differentiate it completely from advertising agencies that offer creative services - something that Early does not. Keeping Early's razor-sharp focus on operationalizing proven marketing strategies in mind, the design was built to represent the seasoned experience and knowledge of its team. The name Early as a fraction - with the client in the numerator - signals the part-of-a-whole way in which early works, and the typography and colours support the no-nonsense ethos while still retaining personality.

The goal to keep the brand language utterly simple was fulfilled further through a crisp, bulleted list as their website (a tribute to 37 signals) - explaining who the brand is and what it does without frills.
